Approximately 100 people gathered at the University of Alberta Campus Saint-Jean Grand Salon to celebrate the Decade of People of African Descent.
The CBC participation had been done probably before the start of the day’s program.

Youth and Intercultural Dialogue: Recognition, Justice and Development

More than 100 participants from Brooks, Calgary, Quebec and Edmonton had an opportunity to discuss their everyday lives: Challenges and Opportunities.
Keynote Speaker: Me Nancy Nyota from Gatineau.
Other Participants: Federal Minister of Natural Resources Aamajeet Sohi, Edmonton MP Strathcona, MPP David Shepherd, Samantha of the Edmonton Police Service, Dulari Prithipaul, Co-Founder of AMFA, Martin Kreimer and Sympa Caesar of FJA, Luketa M’Pindou of AJFAS, and so many others.
