AJFAS received by the new Chief of the Alberta Human Rights Commission and Courts

This Thursday, October 04, 2018, AJFAS with its project Young Traveling Ambassadors (JAMIT) had the privilege of being received in the first instance by the new head of the Commission of Human Rights and Courts of Alberta, Mr. Michael Gottheil came from Ontario just two months ago to his office on the 7th floor of the Place du Commerce in downtown Edmonton.
Mr. Michael Gottheil, who rightly appreciated the work done by JAMIT, wanted to listen to his delegation, led here by Ambassador Domina Lufuma; for he believes: Young Ambassadors have a central role to play in the Government of Alberta’s new program: FIGHT AGAINST RACISM, which states in passing: “We could expand the mandate of the Rights Commission. of the person to include diversity promotion and related education “.
He is willing to collaborate with JAMIT to carry out this work.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Luketa M’Pindou, Director General of AJFAS and Mr. Ange Kadima, Member of the Council of Wise Persons of AJFAS.
