Alliance jeunesse-Famille de l’Alberta Society (AJFAS) has welcomed Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s announcement to support black entrepreneurs so they can better position themselves in Canada’s economic recovery.
This news is all the more appreciated; because the entrepreneurship of young black francophones and the black community in general, is part of our battle horse to make this community autonomous.
The time has come, therefore, to help black communities in Canada to enable them to create new opportunities to contribute to the country’s economic development, especially at this crucial time of the COVID-19 crisis.
This financial assistance will allow black entrepreneurs to overcome the systemic barriers in Canadian society that prevent them from thriving.
