The Alliance Jeunesse-Famille de l’Alberta Society (AJFAS) is pleased to announce that it is partnering with YMCA on its Youth Exchanges Canada 2020 program.

In fact, for 2020, the program is aimed at children / boys aged 12 to 15 and aims to increase the appreciation of Canadian multiculturalism and enhance mutual understanding within Canada’s great cultural diversity. It will therefore facilitate social cohesion and prepare our young people to become real leaders of tomorrow and at the same time strengthen the social fabric.

We are doing this edition with the School Board of Or-et-Des-Bois, in Val-D’or, Quebec. We will send 20 children and when we return, we will also receive 20 children.

Exchange dates:

Departure from our Edmonton delegation in Val-d’Or: April 20-26, 2020. Children will be accommodated in a cottage.
Welcome to the Val-d’Or Youth Group in Edmonton: May 11-17, 2020. Children will be accommodated at McEwan University Residence.

The registration fee is $ 250 / child (including airfare, round trip, travel expenses on outings or planned educational activities, and meals).

If you are interested, please fill in the attached registration form and return it with your payment to the AJFAS office no later than December 06, 2019.
You can make a payment check on behalf of the Alberta Family Youth Alliance or pay cash in the AJFAS office.
